Internship opportunity: GIS Data Visualization
We are a team of 12, working from our office in Rijswijk, with specializations in remote sensing, software engineering, cloud computing, civil engineering and machine learning.

Our mission is to equip civil engineering professionals with easy access to satellite data, simplifying analysis and process management through intuitive, cost-effective solutions. In our cloud-based platform we leverage the InSAR technique to deliver high-precision monitoring products. This enables civil engineers to continuously monitor their assets with the latest data. The InSAR technology allows for detections of deformations across large areas with mm-scale precision, offering up to 180,000 measurements per km² and data stretching back to 1992.
What will you be doing?
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic intern or thesis student to help us with visualization and interaction of our data-products for our customers. You will be working on topics like:
- Investigating customer needs
- Improving our product definitions based on customer research
- Transforming data into insights
- Improving the visualization of our data-products in ArcGIS
- Improving customer interactions
You will work closely together with our application engineers and product developers. The internship duration and starting date is up for discussion. We aim for 5-6 months, starting in April/May 2025. We are looking for a student with the following qualifications:
- Enthusiastic about technology and (civil) applications
- Communicative, assertive and a team player
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master program
- Background in Geo-Information Systems (GIS)
- Experience with GIS-software (preferably ArcGIS)
- Proficient in English and comfortable to conduct customer interviews in Dutch
